It has been completely revised and updated, with the addition of about six hundred words, phrases and senses. Besides this, there are extra pedagogical features: relevant information is given, where appropriate, in little blue “boxes” in the dictionary on, for example, items of grammar, or cultural traditions in the English-speaking world. This was already in place in the third edition. Now another feature has been added: a short list of so-called False Friends, i.e. pairs of words, one in Swedish and one in English, which look alike but differ in meaning. These pairs are illustrated by examples in the list and they are also found in the dictionary.
