An account of the life and games of the modest, likeable young Indian, who represents the greatest threat to Kasparov's hold on the world title. Dave Norwood analyses both the strengths and weaknesses of Anand's unique style.
Book was written during the 1995 World Championship match between Kasparov and Anand. The author does a good job of showing the general mood before that match and telling some interesting stories about matches that happened prior to Anand's WC match.
