This is a chess book intended for self-study for amateur-level players, not for complete beginners and not for titled players. The explanations are therefore kept simple and short. There are numerous opening lines (more than 120) in this book, not necessarily popular lines or main lines. These are not presented in any particular order. A particular opening may appear multiple times scattered throughout the book showing different lines. There is a table of contents at the beginning of the book. Just briefly look at all the openings given and then choose ones that you are interested in. Notes given cover some of the lines, not necessarily the best moves. Practice and analyze them before using in tournaments or regular games. Diagrams are given for every opening line so the reader can readily see the setup and decide whether it suits his style. Common opening mistakes beginners make are explained (with examples) in one chapter. The reader should practice the openings that interest him and understand the typical plans and tactics associated with those openings.
