Most of the games in this volume were played in recent years, and it is astonishing that sparkling miniatures are still being produced between leading masters, despite the great advance in chess technique. All the brilliances in this book are 25 moves or fewer; the great majority have never been published in this country, and they will afford hours of enjoyment to the enthusiast.
The games are arranged in the same order of openings as in J. du Mount´s two volumes of miniatures, and this book can therefore be read either independently or as a sequel to these previous collections of brilliances.
160 партий-миниатюр (25 ходов и менее), охватывающих весь спектр дебютов с краткими комментариями.
