Chessbase 2002. Файл в формате ChessBase. It is unpleasant to play against the Bird Opening (1. f4) with Black - because you vaguely recall a few nasty pitfalls, but you often don't know how to avoid them. Dmitrij Oleimkov's opening CD is the remedy. There is very little opening theory in the classical sense that you have to learn. Instead, the emphasis is on game plans and manoeuvres that can be used in many situations. To help you learn all the important ideas in the Bird Opening quickly, Olemikov has packed his findings concerning this opening into a compact database: the 14 chapters contain links to a total of 200 exemplary games. A further database with about 9 000 games contains all the games with the Bird Opening that ChessBase has. The CD is rounded off with a tree of all the games and two training databases devoted to the areas of tactics/traps and strategy/plans.
