Report. — 1919. — 58 p. Carrying out a gas attack is the most technical and most dangerous of war’s problems, not alone to those taking part in it as in the part of airplane work, but also to all friendly troops for miles around. This pamphlet describes the use of gas warfare in World War I particularly by the German Army, and describes their failure to capitalize on their early successes. The various forms of munitions and technology used in gas warfare is discussed, as well as tactics and doctrine for their use and its effects on the human body. The author is a strong proponent of the use of chemical warfare.
