ASTM D 1514 - 04 Standard Test Method for Carbon Black - Sieve Residue

in 1957. Last previous edition approved in 2001 as D 1514 – 01. This test method covers the determination of the water wash sieve residue in regular untreated carbon blacks. It may not be applicable to oil-treated carbon blacks because the oil would prevent proper wetting of the black by water.
