It has been compiled with a view of supplying a medium whereby the Lithuanian language may be learned; in as much as no dictionary has yet been published of those two languages. Only more useful and more necessary words are given. In the first part, or the English-Lithuanian, we omitted the grammatical abbreviations or the sings denoting the parts of speech for reasons deemed sufficient by the writer. In the second part, o the Lithuanian-English, all the former sings denoting the parts of speech are given. If this our little work will please the public, the „Easy Lessons, which we have started, with more earnestness will be completed.
