DOE Fundamentals Handbooks consist of ten academic subjects, which include Classical Physics; Electrical Science; Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer, and Fluid Flow; Instrumentation and Control; Mathematics; Chemistry; Engineering Symbology, Prints, and Drawings; Material Science; Mechanical Science; Nuclear Physics and Reactor Theory.
The handbooks are provided as an aid to DOE nuclear facility contractors. The DOE Fundamentals Handbooks represent the needs of various DOE nuclear facilities' fundamentals training requirements.
The Classical Physics handbook consists of five modules that are contained in one volume.

The Electrical Science handbook consists of fifteen modules that are contained in four volumes.
