This book is the first synthetic study about mediaeval swords from Balkans and Carpathian basin i.e. Balkan peninsula with all former Yugoslav republics, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary and Slovakia. It include over the 400 sword finds from this territory in Catalogue with 18 plates and additional 37 illustrations, drawings and photographs of swords and medieval visual sources and 12 geographic and historical maps.
