It is observed that WirelessMAN (e.g., WiMAX) is even regarded as a 4G technology. Efficient signal processing techniques, network architecture, secure protocols, programmable configuration, and flexible system design are needed to guarantee that the system will meet the all requirements.This book concentrates on the basic concepts, recent advances, and latest standard specifications in the WirelessMANs with the emphasis on IEEE 802.16-based WiMAX. The book is comprised of 17 chapters, the topics of which comprehensively cover almost all essential issues in WirelessMANs.
