This two-volume text on The Physics of Astrophysics grew from my lecture notes for the reorganized two-semester sequence. It is aimed at first-year graduate students and well-prepared seniors in astronomy and physics. Although these two volumes were written to form a coherent whole, they can be decoupled for use in separate courses.
