Рабочая тетрадь к курсу Nakama 1: Communication, Culture, Context
Nakama I: Japanese Communication, Culture, Context was first published in 1998 and is still in its first edition. This is without doubt one of the most up-to-date and comprehensive introductory language texts on the market today and is geared toward a college and university audience. Nakama I follows a proficiency-based method, modeled on ACTFL guidelines and focusing on the four fundamental language skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The communicative approach works, effectively presenting language structures, making this a superb introduction to beginning Japanese.
Like most foreign language programs today, Nakama I is accompanied by a variety of auxiliary materials, such as a videotape, a set of audio cassette tapes and a Workbook, as well as an Instructor’s Resource Manual. Nakama I tries to teach authentic Japanese to students from the very beginning because it relies entirely on Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji. The authors’ approach is comprehensive and carefully organized to lead the beginning student on an exciting and visually stimulating exploration of authentic Japanese language and culture. After completing the text the beginning student will have achieved a proficiency level that corresponds to ACTFL’s Novice High level. At that point the student will be ready to tackle Nakama II, the newly released program for the intermediate level.
