Chapter 7 and 8 address the methods of Mapping the Competency of the employees and its relevance in the present scenario and about the potential appraisal of the different employees in the organization. Chapter 9 shows Human resource accounting, auditing, human resources information system and its applications in day-to-day activities. Chapter 10 and 12 deal with training and employee development relating to Indian context. Chapter 13 explains the good and effective employee and employer relationships in the organization.
About the Author
Dr. Bibhuti Bhusan Mahapatro (1963) is working as Reader in the P.G. Department of Business Management in Fakir Mohan University, Vyasa Vihar, Balasore, Orissa. He completed his Doctoral Research on 'Industrial Wages' in 1991 under University Research fellowship of Berhampur University. He has contributed several books to his credit which are published by different reputed publications. He has published more than 30 research articles in the journals of national and international repute. Now, about 15 Ph.D. scholars are working in various complex areas on Human Resource Management under his guidance. Few scholars are already awarded their Ph.Ds. with excellent remarks. The author is also carrying out Major Research Projects on "Capacity Building of Small and Medium Enterprises in Balasore and Bhadrak Districts of Orissa" which is funded by University Grants Commission, New Delhi.
